Born and raised in South Philadelphia, and growing up just a ten minute walk from the Stadium Complex ignited a deep passion for sports within me from the moment I could talk. Being in such close proximity to my hometown teams, and experiencing some of the most iconic moments in the history of sports naturally fostered my unwavering loyalty as a devoted Philly Sports Fan... and critic.
Sports have played such a signifiant role in my life, because it has helped form an unbreakable bond between my family and friends and I. Some of my fondest memories are of being in the backseat listening to 94.1 WIP radio with my dad on the rides to and from school. As well as visiting Citizen's Bank Park and watching the Phillies play almost everyday in the spring and summer as a child. Throughout the years, we've shared in the euphoria of victories and the despair of defeats, building a vault of memories that have forever shaped my perspective as a person.
With that being said, my love for sports extends beyond family or fandom; it also lies in my fascination with people. As my admiration doesn't solely rest on the prowess on the field of play, but the humanitarian contributions beyond the game. Growing up in an area surrounded by Hall of Fame level athletes, you learn a thing or two on how to conduct yourself as a man and a leader.
I aspire to humanize and elevate the efforts of athletes off the field, highlighting their impact in their communities and with their families. In this new era of digital media, I aim to create a platform where I can engage with athletes, share their stories, and ultimately make the world of sports a more connected and entertaining one.
